Collection of your Personal Information
When you enroll in a continuing education activity, we may collect personal information, including name, professional credentials, email, title, organization, state of license, zip code for practice site(s), professional role, and shipping address. Credit card and billing information is not collected nor stored; the payment is processed in a secure transaction via a third-party payment system, Authorize.net.
Additionally, we utilize information required for us to process continuing education credits on your behalf for professional certifying entities.
- Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians (ACPE Credits): Information including NABP and partial date of birth (DDMM) are collected and uploaded to NABP/CPE Monitor.
- Physicians (ACCME Credits): Information, including name, post-test scores, email address, mailing address, and payment amount are collected and sent to MedChi, The Maryland State Medical Society.
We collect information about learning behaviors and usage patterns, as well as continuing education program surveys to evaluate and improve our offerings, as required by our certifying bodies. Aggregate summaries are sent to Joint Providers at the completion of the activity.
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of eighteen. If you are under the age of eighteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.
